Bence are proud to be able to report that they have delivered their first ambulance to Oman. It is being used by the Rusayl Health Centre group. This particular ambulance has been created to act as a patient carrier as well as a front line ambulance. It can carry as many as 5 patients on forward facing M1 class seats and also a patient on a stretcher.
The ambulance is based on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter with a 5.5 tonne capacity. An additional air conditioning system has been fitted which can be connected to a mains land line feed to support the vehicle being used as a mobile clinic with the main vehicle propulsion engine switched off.
The ambulance is being used in the new Port of Duqm and is supplying additional emergency medical facilities to support the small medical centre on site. As the Port is currently under construction this front line ambulance will be used to transport any seriously injured workers from the site to the nearest hospital which is 120km away.
