Project.

WH Bence were delighted to be awarded the contract for the conversion of a Ford Ranger chassis into a purpose-built Response Vehicle. This vehicle was manufactured for the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team (CBRMT).

The CBRMT are staffed entirely by volunteers and through fundraising efforts raised the money to purchase the Ford Ranger chassis and vehicle conversion.

How did we achieve this?

A Truckman top was installed on the vehicle chassis, and provision made for storage areas in the back of the vehicle. The stowage is for the mountain rescue equipment and fold up stretcher. The vehicle was then fitted with ancillary equipment such as blue lights, search lights, radio installation and charging points.

In the photographs, the vehicle is being demonstrated to CBRMT volunteer Mark Moran by our Production Manager Jeff Trought.

We are pleased to announce that the vehicle was delivered to its new base at CBRMT HQ in Merthyr Tydfil this week.
