Introducing the latest educational vehicle to be delivered from WH Bence – the Hampshire Fire Schools Safety Vehicle. Built on an Iveco Eurocargo chassis, this vehicle is intended to travel to schools around Hampshire delivering a crucial fire safety message to children.
The interior of the vehicle is designed to look like a domestic sitting room and kitchen, and was designed by the Bence design team and the Hampshire Fire Schools Safety team. The vehicle integrates a range of audio and visual learning aids to provide a fun, yet educational environment for children on-board the vehicle, enabling Hampshire Fire to deliver a range of fire safety seminars.
The vehicle is also fully DDA compliant, with a disabled access lift to the rear near-side of the vehicle. The disabled access lift can be operated by one member of staff, and has a 500kg weight limit to allow electric wheelchairs and/or a carer to travel on the lift with the person in the wheelchair.
