At the beginning of 2019, Close Air Solutions (CAS) approached Bence to develop a state of the art training facility for ground troops. The challenge for CAS was the ability to provide a real-world situation rather than classroom based training for operational troops.
The team created an augmented reality system, which could be deployed directly into the field, allowing training in real-world situations and environments. Bence helped to create the design for the vehicle and were instrumental in choosing the type of vehicle required to deploy in a variety of situations.
The large Ford Transit was able to have the weight capacity and space to create the environment required for training troops and integrating the technology and support features required for the training staff.
The vehicle is currently being deployed on a variety of pilot demonstrations and is in constant development as the equipment is tested to its limit and capabilities.
