WH Bence are delighted to announce the completion of a contract for Inovo in the manufacture of three specialist fire appliances for Abu Dhabi Port Authority. The contract also included the procurement of specialist fire fighting equipment for the new purpose-built fire station at the Port.
Following their completion this month, and a rigorous inspection and testing regime by WH Bence and the client, the vehicles are now en-route to Abu Dhabi.
The production of the trio of vehicles, which consisted of two water pumping appliances and a Hazmat vehicle, are based on a Scania CP31 chassis. Their manufacture includes the latest in vehicle body design, incorporating a co-polymer body with integral 2,000L water tank.

This collaboration has ensured that WH Bence were able to manufacture three extremely high quality vehicles that will give ADPC many years of valuable fire fighting service.”
The vehicles go into service in Abu Dhabi in August/September 2012.
