WH Bence are currently in the process of building the second generation of the Bence/Merseyside Fire Appliance. This is designed with the latest spacious scania cab chassis with Bence integrating HO Bostrom BA systems and their own hand manufactured breakfast bar storage system. The rear body is a co-polymer design to the Bence specification, integrating cable ducting and multi-functional storage systems.
The body has the latest CAFS high pressure foam pump, which is run through the on-board Bence elctronic pump control screen. The benefit of the pump screen allows more simple operation of the pump with pre-set pressures for both high and low pressure. It also provides an emergency stop and accumulative pump hours and litre usage.
Bence hope to deliver the first of the second generation in early June 2019.
