Bence were recently awarded to build the new interactive Amazon delivery vehicles, The Treasure Trucks. These innovative Treasure Trucks use Amazon’s fantastic ability to deliver a variety of offers to their consumers.
The vehicles were designed to offer flexibility, with an internal storage compartment with chilling facility for fresh goods and a remote monitoring system to be able to protect any on-board product.
In conjunction with CSG, Bence’s US partner, we were awarded the contract to build the Amazon Treasure Trucks across the UK. The first truck successfully went into service in December 2017, with a great product launch for Christmas.
The body design integrates the latest in interactive technology provided by CSG. Bence assisted the integration of the lighting array and provided an on-board power generator and refrigeration unit to support all the vehicle activities.
We also worked with our in-house design teams alongside Amazon on the external livery, which is a full vehicle wrap around the vehicle exterior. The wraps are designed to be city-specific, with individual branding for each location.
As part of the complete service provided by WH Bence, we have also assisted Amazon with the transportation of the vehicles across the UK and have assisted in training and initial product delivery across the country.
Bence have also agreed to provide service and support with an extended warranty for five years as part of our customer support package.
